Hi! I’m glad

you’re here.

A while ago, I looked around my community and saw a sea of women longing to connect with something more. God began growing a passion in me for women I didn't even know yet, a passion to connect them to God, His Word and to each other in more deep and meaningful ways.

My Mission

With a passion to teach and encourage women to study and apply the Bible to their lives, I stepped out in faith to write study guides for a community Bible Study which grew to over 12 curriculum books.

God has wired me specifically to:

  • Inspire women in all faith places to be transformed through active study of God’s Word

  • Bring women together and equip them to recognize the power of their identity in Christ

  • Disciple others to obey God’s Word in order to experience the abundant life

  • Encourage women to build their lives on truth, not trend.

More than anything, I would love this online home to become a safe place that encourages you to ask questions, but also to seek answers. I am only a messenger of Good News, and the real person you want to connect with and experience in a personal way is Jesus Christ. The content I create here is not about Lisa Thompson; it is meant to be a place you can visit, knowing you will experience the love, grace, power, and presence of God through the Holy Spirit.

I pray that "Kingdom living" would go from being something you've

heard about and don't quite understand, to your new way of life.

About Me & My Family

I have been a follower of Christ since I was 6 years old. In 2018, I decided to return to school and graduated with my MA in Christian Formation from North Park Theological Seminary in 2022. I am honored to serve as the Women’s and Adult Ministries Pastor at Bayside Church Granite Bay Campus in Northern California.

Robb and I tied the knot in 1992 and have been laughing together ever since with four kids.

We currently live in Folsom, CA, and love getting outdoors for a bike ride, enjoying a good cup of coffee with a local friend, or meeting new people from our church community.
